THE WEATHER: Because of the waters influence, the average temperature is approximately 72 degrees, a little cooler in the winter than in the summer. The weather here has been noted to be some of the best in the world by the National Weather Service. And because of the weather, it is also believed that more types of vegetation can grow there than most other areas of the world.
RECREATION: Along with enjoying the fun Southern California Beach life, popular activities for the area include golfing, fishing, hiking, surfing, kite surfing, water skiing, harbor cruises, sunbathing, and moonlight strolls along the beach. With room for much growth, the thriving towns, harbors, hotels and convention centers draw international visitors year-round.
