TEMPERATURE – Ojai’s average temperature changes seasonally. Unlike its Coastal neighbor, Ventura, that has a moderate year-round temperature, Ojai’s slightly inland location creates a perfect spot for enjoying a mild four seasons. The average high daytime temperature in summer months is between 82-91 degrees. The winter temperatures can be 65 high down to 40 degrees on the low side, with an occasional frost.
RECREATION: This quaint town is a highly desirable spot for those who love the outdoors. With miles of hiking, bike riding, and horseback riding opportunities at the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy and leisurely walking in Downtown Ojai to see the shops and restaurants. Hikes on trials like Shelf Rd, Fox Canyon, Pratt Trail, Nordhoff Peak, and Kennedy Ridge are loved by many. Ojai has great Parks for Kids and Families to enjoy such as the Historic and newly remodeled Libbey Park, Soule Park and Golf Course, Sarzotti Park, and The Skate Park. Sarzotti park is often filled with sports games for youth including Soccer and Baseball outdoors, and Basketball and Gymnastics in the Rec Center. There are many alternative activities across the valley such as Dance, Roller Skating, Yoga, Aerial Arts, Golfing, and Horseback Riding. Bikers, Walkers, and Equestrians alike enjoy the Ojai Bike Path that runs throughout Ojai and to Ventura or Santa Barbara.
